Do they accept dual enrollment community college transfer credit?

Same as topic. I’m still in high school, and I want to take some classes at an accredited community college, for dual enrollment and I’d like to know if this university accepts it. Even if it accepts only the credit not the grade, thats fine. I would like to know their whole policy about that.
I’m from Florida, by the way.

Generally, yes, but it can get complicated. For the most part, you're ok if it's very close to a class here (for instance, Intro to Psych at community college will fulfill your PS101 requirement here). The credits transfer but not the grade, and you only get the amount of credits you earned at the college (most likely 3 credits) and not what the equivelent course is worth here (most likely 4 credits). Shouldn't make too much of a difference.

Some schools, however, have limitations--it really depends on what you're doing. For instance, SMG requires that you take all of their courses at SMG (for the most part). If you're in SMG, you can transfer in a CAS course and it will count toward your electives, but you can't transfer in Intro Business. I took Intro Psych and Intro Business in high school, and only the former counted. Psych majors in CAS can only transfer half of their psych courses, I believe.

You really should check with the school you plan to apply to. If it's CAS or SMG, I can give you an idea.
