Do they Fedex rejection letters to internationals?

i didn't get this either despite of having asked for email notification -_-

Is Princeton using Fedex for Canadian applicants? Has anyone in Canada received a Letter/Fedex from Priceton? Thanks!

Nixsticks:

Did you get your FedEx acceptance letter yet?

Ushnish:

DId you get your FedEx? I am in S'pore too. I think FedEx will arr coming Monday!!! Good luck

Dude.... They arent Fedex-ing anything. I thought that was clear in the email they sent us international students. Plus it wouldn make sense for them to spend like US $40 on each and every applicant. Think how much it adds up to.

nuh i think by the 'delays' they mean the rejection letters, which go through normal mail. someone in the netherlands have already got their princeton fedex (so it took a day to reach her). so obviously, they do use fedex

Ushnish, I'm an int'l from France and I've got no FedEx package coming to my house, so I very very very much hope that you are right. The problem seems to be that there is a contradiction: aren't some international applicants receiving FedEx packages and posting this news in this thread? I could easily conceive that Princeton would mail their RD decision via regular mail for internationals, especially because there really is no "time pressure" now as there was for ED applicants to get their decision. However, I can't help but fear that they did FedEx international acceptees, and that, hence, no FedEx = no admission.

I pray that you are right, though, believe me!!! Will be calling on Monday anyway, and "que sera, sera"... Good luck to all of you!

nix and others - best of luck.

I would think acceptances would be Fed-Exed to int'ls, and rejections through normal mail and waitlists...normal?

Sorry ushnish... I got my fedex acceptance package this morning :)

FedEx works on Saturday; I thought they didn't...

And?

Nixsticks:
Congrats!!

Nixsticks, if you got your acceptance through fedex, then i guess i interpretted their email wrongly. Sorry for the confusion and my heartiest congratulations.

After checking FedEx site, the transit time from Princeton to SIngapore, if pkg mailed on Mar 29 will arr S'pore on April 3. To Malaysia will arr April 1. Don't ask me why

To those people who received their FedEx package: do you know if the FedEx was FedEx International Priority or FedEx International Economy?

I checked FedEx site and found that the arrival time in my country was April 3 too. Damnit, i'm going to die from such long waiting.

where are you from struggle ?

Wildsky: Considering that nixstick already got his/her package, it has to be FedEx International Priority.

mine also says April 3... this is devastatingly torturous. princeton, i hate u.

heh.. yeah, but I'm so glad I know it's gonna be Apr 3 - instead of ruining half my weekend waiting and wondering why it's not here yet.. :)

And then, imagine if they didn't FedEx it.........
Horrors. :)
