Do They See?

If one applied to both harvard and yale as a transfer, would the other know? would this bring your chances down? i heard that the ivy league knows where else you applied within the ivy league...

I doubt that matters. You probably won't get in as a transfer to either anyway(Yale is close to impossible to get into at any time).

haha ryan way to be honest

ryan's comment.. hahaha.

anyone have anything useful to say?

dsouthren, the "ivy league" isn't some sort of club where all the college conspire together against applicants...Yale Admissions and Harvard Admissions are not related. So no, colleges will not know where else you applied unless they ask you and you tell them.
I second ryan's post, however. It is extremely useful for you to have a sense of perspective. Last year 681 students attempted to transfer to Yale and 30 got in. That is 4.4%. To make the cut you need to be exceptional and/or have connections to authority figures at Yale (professors, etc.). I know this from experience.

dsouthren did not ask about chances though. He/she simply inquired about whether an Ivy admissions office will know what other Ivies one applied to.

I answered that question.

They won't know...nor do they care enough a/b transfers to even consider keeping up. The only time the ivy league "conspires" is when you apply ED/SCEA as a freshman so they know you're not doubling up.

they see everything!
they even see you touching yourself right now ;)

lmao newby...perverts

Brand, what are you thinking here? who is the perv. huh?
I am just saying, if you scratch your back, they see you ;)
what do you think i was refering to? you perv!

haha no I was calling the people at Harvard perverts.

But I am one too. I have nothing to hide here.
