Do transfer students feel...left out?

I was accepted through GSP but I think I have to decline. As hard as it is, I really cannot get the money that I thought I could. I thought I could get student loans but we were already denied through one company.

I am thinking that, to make it easier on myself, I will hold the hope than next year or the year after, I could transfer and possibly get loans by then. I just wondered though, how hard is it for transfer students to "fit" in?

(I haven't given up ALL hope...but I do only have two weeks to find 25,000)

contact the admissions office or office of financial aid by phone or professionally craft a letter explaining your situation. try asking them to extend the grace period or appeal your aid so you can have more time to find loans/grants

I called. There isn't much I can do. They will offer an additional 4,000 if my mother doesn't qualify for the PLUS loan (which I know she won't). But they still leaves me at 21,000. I wish I knew what to do. I wish there were loan companies that offered money to low income students without a cosigner.

Gah!
I don't wanna give up my dream but it is looking like I have to.
