If so, is it better to retake it again during your university freshman year before transfer apps go in?

You probably will want to contact the school you are going to transfer to and ask them this question. However, I believe SAT scores are valid for a few years after they have been taken, so retaking them might not be necessary unless you are seeking to improve your score.

Depends on particular college, and then it also depends on when you try to transfer. Some require and partly rely on SAT scores no matter when you attempt to transfer. Many do not rely on them at all if you are attempting transfer into junior year but use them if you are attempting transfer earlier. Don't know whether a retake helps at all.

i might try to transfer into the ivies, harvard, yale, pton, stanford, wharton for my junior year

do i need to submit the scores? and are my applications due the same time as the freshmans?

If you have more than 30 credits then test scores are not usually required. You should also check the admissions requirements for each school you apply to; that is your best resource.

Also, check the application due dates for each of your schools
