Do you have to take 2 SATIIs and get almost prefect scores(>750) to be in Wharton? How about other very competitive universities?

Yes yes you have to. In fact, you have to take AT LEAST 5, with 800 on AT LEAST 2 of them. I'm not joking, you HAVE to have this in order to get into Penn(Wharton) and other very competitive universities.

Just taking the SATIIs is a requirement. I did alright(700s) on them and okay on the SAT(M 780 V 690). It's about the full package

What he asked for is the number of SAT II tests required. I believe that is 3.

ok sorry i was being sardonic earlier
you only need 2 SATIIs for penn.. check the website

I'll be damned, thought it was 3 all the time. Pedypie, it can't hurt to do more. More is always better.

yeah, it is two, but you are able to take 3 in one day, so that is what I did

Thanks guys, well i dunno how many subjects i'm going to take, im good at maths and physics but really dunno about anything on US History (which i planned to take), so im thinking if I will just take 2. But hmm, seems it's better if i take 3, well im using Sparknotes for US History review and it's been going good so hopefully I can finish reviewing in 10 days :D

can you send them SAT and ACT and not do SAT 2's?

yea i wonder that too...

Can you tell me what SAT II's are recommended? I know that on the website they said a language and math but what if I take a language and a language with listening?

What would happen if you did not take the Subject test by the application deadline. The language test is only offered on certain dates. Could I send it after the application deadline. ED.

You only need 2 for Wharton, but I talked to an Penn admission officer recently, and you have to take Math II-c for Wharton and another non-math subject test.

Other very competitive colleges just need 2 SATIIs too?

allie -
no, for many you need 3 SAT subject tests. Take 3 to be on the safe side. I've had friends this year who couldn't apply to colleges they had really wanted to go to just because they only had 2 SAT subject tests under their belt and the college required 3. Since you can take a max of 3 on a single test date, I recommend doing it that way and getting them out of the way.

I see. Thanks for the advice! :)

You're welcome! Good luck with everything!

i was accepted as a transfer w/ no sat ii's

Oh yea, btw, will it look worse if you have 3 subjects tested and got a bad score on one of them rather than just taking 2 subjects and aced them?
