Do Universities look at high school transcripts if you go to a community college?

I was just wondering if universities such as ivy league universites or any university look at high school transcripts if you go to a community college because I have heard that if you go to a community college than universities will not look at your highschool transcripts, is this true?

If you earn an Associates degree, nobody is going to spend time looking at your HS transcript anymore. If you transfer without earning a degree, they may pay more attention to your HS grades.

If you complete less than 60 units at a CCC, you are considered a lower-division transfer student and admission is based on both your high school performance and your college work to determine if you are eligible. Some campuses with enrollment pressures do not admit lower-division transfer students. Once you complete 60 units at a CCC, you will be a junior transfer and therefore only look at your CCC grades.

Also, if you’re applying to a private school they do examine your hs transcripts as well as test scores. But overall improvement is always a plus for when they’re considering your admission. @IvyLeagueSchools

most ivy league schools do require you to send your high school transcripts. Less selective schools won’t depending on how long you been in college and how many credits you earned. Whether admission officers “look” at your high school transcript is a different story.
