Do Universities realize some AP's are harder than others?

For example, I definitely think AP Chemistry is harder than AP Biology and Environmental Science. In my school all the kids who just want to take an extra AP def go for Bio and would never do Chem. I know some people say it depends on what type of person you are..but I really just think Chem is harder than Bio.

So to get to the point.

If one applicant has the same stats as the other but one took AP Chem while the other took AP Bio would they chose the Chem person over the Bio person or no?

I didn't take AP Bio even though it would have been easier because I fell this way, but Chem is pretty tough. Opinions?

Some people find bio more difficult than chem (more memorization). What is more difficult for you is not necessarily more difficult for other people. Universities are aware of the differences; that’s why some AP tests don’t result in free credit.
