Do we need our high school transcripts for orientation?

I know it says it is reccomended, but I don’t have mine…forgot about it!

Don’t worry about it. It’s not needed and your advisor is more concerned about which APs/IBs you took to see where you would fit in for classes in the Fall.

I got back from orientation a few days ago. I’m in the RC so I don’t know if non-RC advising is different, but my advisor just looked at my classes, said “looks good!,” then told me to print my schedule.

And at no other time will you use your transcript. I’d be more concerned about remembering flip flops for the shower if I were you.

As long as you reported your AP/IB scores to Michigan your advisor will have them. Make sure to take the on-line placement tests before you arrive, you will probably have some to take in person as well. The advisors are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but it will help if you have a bit of a plan - even if it is not definitive - before you talk to them.
