Hi I was wondering if we need to explain Ds and Fs for junior year (not SENIOR year)? I have a D in the first semester of my junior year, but I brought it up to a B- in the 2nd semester. Is it still necessary to explain my low grade?

in other words, will I be rescinded if I don’t explain my D for that semester?

If I understand your post correctly, you are wondering if you are accepted, will you be rescinded due to junior grades?

Well the answer is no. The school will be seeing your self reported junior grades when you apply, so you are clearly disclosing that information already. If they accept you with those grades, then that’s that.

Now, if you lie on your self reported grades, that’s a completely different situation.

Hope that helps!

Thanks! Yes that’s what I mean ( I’m attending UC Davis in the fall).
I got confused because for the term of conditions it says that we have to report any D’s and F’s. So I’m guessing they’re referring to senior grades, and not the other grades (freshman, sophomore, junior). Right?

Right… It says “If you receive any grade lower…” Receive is not in past tense as ‘received’ so I’m thinking they do not need you to report past D’s or F’s because you already informed Davis of those grades.

I’m pretty positive you don’t need to report your grades but if you’re still not quite sure, you can always email them.

I’ll also be attending Davis in the fall so see you then! :)

That makes sense. ok thanks, and see you in the fall as well! :)
