Do we provide copies of the 1099's?

<p>It appears that our FAFSA has been randomly selected and that our Federal Tax return will be required by all schools. Some state they need copies of W-2's but my husband both have 1099's -- not W-2s. Should we include those instead?</p>

<p>I have been including 1099s as well as W-2s.</p>

<p>Thanks… I’ve heard from a couple of the schools already and yes, they want 1099s. </p>

<p>I’m hoping I can email it instead of snail mailing.</p>
