Do You Appreciate Nature?

Do you enjoy watching sunrise/sunsets? Do you ever stop and notice how beautiful the Earth is? Do you any of you enjoy hiking, etc?

Yeah (sort of). I go hiking every now and then, I used to have a telescope set up in my room, and I go with friends whenever they decide to go nature shooting (which only happened like twice so far lol, but I thought it was still worth mentioning). I’m more of a fan of sunsets, but once when I was running down the beach during the summer, I saw the sun rise over the water and that was one of the nicest things I’ve ever seen.

Weird thing lol. I’ve got this flight simulator on my laptop (and a joystick to go along with it) which I’m screwing around with right now. About an hour and a half ago, I spent like 10 minutes setting the time and weather conditions and taking off from San Francisco and bearing due east so I could watch a virtual sunrise on a horizon at 35,000 feet. It wasn’t as exciting as I thought it’d be though haha, but as far as simulations go, this one’s pretty good.

I also spent like the last 15 minutes trying to find my house, or at least my neighborhood and the surrounding area, but to no success. Even when I start the plane near enough to coordinates, I still can’t find it.

^ This guy has it all figured out.

me, i want to travel the world and see everything

Sun is good.

Sunsets and sunrises are beautiful every dawn and dusk. Whats more, I can view them daily from my dorm window.

:)

Hahaha no one in this generation truly appreciates nature. More than ever we’re all chained to our conscious of consciousness and this idea that we can consume experiences.

Not really. I’m not a big fan of the “outdoors”.

I would like to think I do.

After computer-related stuff hiking is my main hobby so yes. I live in the mountains, so for me walking around the block is about 6 miles.

Not physically. Unfortunately it’s too much driving (seriously, that driving creates so much pollution) and too much trouble. I’d probably appreciate it more if it didn’t require 50 miles of driving.

But I do appreciate animals and natural environments. I really hope that 24/7 camera monitoring of the outdoors might bring nature closer to the computers of this increasingly urbanized generation.

No, I support conglomerates and transnational corporations polluting our ozone and destroying our environment in the name of capitalism.

I love sunsets, sunrises are amazing too. I love animals and natural environments though I am not too fond of bugs. Kind of ridiculous, I know xD

I believe I do. I write best when it is windy and the sun is setting. I like hiking and running in the open forest is pretty nice as well. I go running when the sun rises and I especially abide by that when at the beach. Watching the sunrise at the beach is beautiful, but wayy quicker than I expected.

I kind of have to, because there is no alternative if you want to be sane in Maine. I like to chill on the beach or in the woods

Yeah I like nature, but I HATE the sun. I’m a bad Californian, but to my credit I’m a transplant lol.

Looove nature  I love sunrises/sunsets (ESPECIALLY if there’re clouds), and the moon.

@Cela: I hope to move to Maine someday… Nature is what keeps me sane :p

Yea I love! My family goes hiking in Utah sometimes, and it is absolutely beauuuuutiful. At night in the southern parts there are soooo many stars in the sky down there compared to here in illinois where I am from. I love the scenery and beauty of it all:)
