Do you dress to be comfortable or to be noticed by the opposite sex?

^ You’re only saying that because your bmi is like 13… hahahhahahahhahhaa.

Sorry, let me clarify. By super skinny, I meant FORCED skinniness (anorexia, extreme dieting, etc.)…and by overweight, I mean…to the extent that you can–I understand more people are predispose to be “fatter,” but I was talking about like 200 pounds overweight, not 10.

Sorry. Yes, “healthy” weight is preferred, and I understand it’s different for everyone.

^^LOL. More like 15 ;)

True but some people are naturally more attractive than others.

^As the old adage goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder…

Easier for fat people? Most guys wouldn’t be caught dead with a fat woman. I know I wouldn’t. I could be with a girl who is skinny as long as she is trying to put on weight. But I would never be with a fat girl even if she was working on taking off the pounds.

I went to Cedar Point once, and I SWEAR, everybody was either fat or mentally challenged or both. But I think it was a special day or something.

Hater’s post just reminded me of that. lol

This is somewhat true. However the statement is usually used by ugly people to defend being ugly.

The truth is there are certainly qualities in men and women that are found as more attractive. These usually are genetically woven into our minds from prehistoric times in which mates were selected based on their ability to reproduce. It’s why guys like girls who have some hips and boobs. Girls like guys who are tall and strong to protect them.

Certainly, I can say a 5’2 250 pound woman would be considered ugly by almost everyone.

^Sorry if that wasn’t clear. Easier in the sense for them to loose weight. There are so many people and methods to help people to loose weight. Whereas, for us slim, non-anorexic girls there isn’t much we can do about it.

Dude, no one wants to get with a fat woman.

Some people look fat compared to others. If I stood next to meadow I’d probably look like a flipping elephant. LOL @ bmi of 15.

18ish here.

How about eating more? I mean, if you HAVE to gain weight, I’m pretty sure it can be done easily.

I disagree. Losing weight can be very difficult. Is it really hard to gain weight? lol Just eat. That sounds sweet. Just jam 10k calories down your throat daily and you will gain weight.

What meadow said. Losing weight is soooo much easier than gaining weight, it’s not even funny. I eat like a man, no joke, and I still can’t gain weight.

Gaining weight is MUCH MUCH easier.

25 bmi here.

Holy crap though that is a dumb way to calculate if you are in shape. Body fat% is what it is all about.

According to the BMI index Ray Lewis is morbidly obese.

Mine’s 18.9 :]

Just drink Gatorade and eat high carb meals all the time.

BTW, Gatorade is terrible to drink if you are worried about gaining weight.

15.3 and I’ve tried a lot of stuff

Underweight = <18.5

Normal weight = 18.5-24.9

Overweight = 25-29.9

Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

I just passed normal weight :]

I don’t really think you can say gaining weight is easier. My girlfriend is really skinny and she’s trying to put on weight but she just has a really fast metabolism and can’t really gain weight. Her body type just doesn’t really allow for it
