I'm thinking of transferring to another college after attending a year of state college. I'm pretty positive that I will get in the college of my choice. But I'm worried that I will not get to know people and enjoy the college life there. People started making friends there freshmen years and by the time I transfer there, they are already like best friends. It will be hard for me to get into any circle of friends. Yes, I know that there will be other transfers. But I also know that they might not be around my age. So I was wondering if I should transfer? If you ever transferred before, how was the college life for you?

I think you’ve just answered your own question.
23k students is quite a lot. You can EASILY make friends. Join clubs, sports team, and make friends. They will eventually invite you to fun parties.

Definitely go to interest meetings for any clubs, publications, or teams you might be interested in. Many groups are very eager to have new members. Go a few times and give it a chance. You will make friends for sure. Good luck!
