i actually don't study, at all. lol, exception being aps/sat2s/psychology becaue i want to really grasp the subject. everything else, not really, no. lol

I study for the tests only...but im trying to review my notes everyday...from now on...
btw..i personally dislike eople who say "i didnt study. OMG Im gonna bomb this test..AHhh! " and they actaulyl did study the materials and get 100% on it..come on just be honest... i aint gonna hurt you.

^ There has been times that what you said happened to me, but I really didn't study.

I'm pretty good at the whole wing it thing too, I often answer questions with answers that I thought were wrong, but turn out to be right in some wierd way, just 'cause I explained my point well.

I try to study whenever I can, because I just feel more confident about my answers and don't check it over and question them.

As for being naturally smart, I think of it as being able to learn easily. I mean a lot of times a teacher can say something once and I will remember it (its the things they repeat that I seem to forget lol).

What's school? I don't study, all my knowledge comes from inter-galactic ether.
I still have a 4.0 (what's that by the way?) UW, because, why wouldn't I have it.

I study regularly during the school year, but I spend most of the time on math, since it's my weakest subject. When it comes to the humanities, however, I do little to no studying since the material is familiar. I study usually 1-2 hours a day, but I'm only a rising sophomore, so I'll do more studying as high school progresses.

I really study for Math.
I read the notes once or twice for a Science, and then again as I walk to the class
Never for Foreign language
Never for English
I do a little more for History than science, but not as much as Math.

I expect, to have to really study this year with AP- stats bio US and engilsh. Honors precalc... and POSSIBLY for spanish 3

AP Bio will be a killlller
I guess she expects 2/70 kids to get an A

Group studying is GREAT. the People at starbucks and borders know our names. We don't even really study toooo much unless we need to. and when we need to, we will be there for HOURS (I was at borders I tihnk 35 huors a week for 2 weeks before the AP world test)

I'm not a fan of group studying. I learn and absorb the material more when it's just me.

group studying is a waste of time, we always end up talking about everything but the stuff we are trying to learn.

^that was always my problem. ESPECIALLY if we went to Starbucks to study....caffeine is NOT good when you get a group of girls together. As far as studying goes, I studied for history.....and history. I didn't study for anything else. For math, I just did my homework, and I discovered after failing a test in alg II that studying wasn't good for me for some weird unknown reason. I studied FOREVER for that test just because I felt like it, and I got a 62. Next time, I didn't study at all, didn't know how to do some problems on the tests, but worked them my own weird way, and got a 110. Working out how to do a problem during the test works much better for me for some weird reason. If I know how to do everything, I mess up. I know that sounds strange, but it's true.

you know maybe only 1 out of 10,000,000 is a naturally smart person like Bill Gates, Einstein or etc??
most "smart" students stick their butt on the chair in front of their desk for 4-6 hours per day and study, do exercises, read, practice..... while other students(who'd call the previous ones "smart") spend the same 4-6 hours on other non-academic related stuff...
more than smart, it's hard work and paying attention in class....

Greg Dunn is my polar opposite.

you don't really have to pay attention in class. just doodle.

Math - Never/rarely. I studied for finals, bombed it. It was a reiteration of old tests that I aced and for which I didn't study. Oy. I don't know how one would study for math.

English - She's given us about 3 tests but they were like "CONNECT QUOTE WITH SPEAKER". So if you've read the book you're fine.

Bio - NEVER pay attention in class or at least for my teacher. Everything he needed an hour to teach was said in a page of the textbook. And more comprehensible at that.

Spanish - I try to but it's mostly vocab and I never knew when the tests were.

Global - Yes. You have to. She tests about 150 pages of the textbook and there are 30 multiple choice questions. She has been known to ask questions that related to a 5 word mention in the textbook.

Art - No.

Music - Mostly if you're deaf and the history related things.

Other classes - No.
Music - If you're deaf. Mostly, the history stuff.

Good study habits are a must. Despite what may seemingly be a relaxed post, I studied a LOT. I practically rewrote the bio textbook and wrote outlines of the units to be tested. Same with global. Spanish, I made a lot of flash cards.

Erm, depends. Calc: if I can. Foreign Lang: why? we get 5 minutes before each test to study. History: I read the textbook once. Isn't that enough? I can practically quote the thing anyway. Phys/sciences: Might've helped here and there... English: See history Self-studys: see the name...
Overall, I basically study if theirs time in school. Otherwise, quite infrequently. You basically get all the info at least once anyway.

nah, just review stuff right before tests...

The only class I really study for is spanish, maybe 15 mins a week

I studied two years ago, for AP Chem and AP USH, just reading the textbooks and review books, and it really prepared me very well for both of the exams, (esp USH). Last year I studied towards the end of the year for Physics, but other than that, just reviewed stuff before tests.

Sometimes, but most of the time I don't study. I got 100% on almost all of my math tests w/out study.
I study if I feel I need it, or if it's something really big like the SATs, where study is crucial.

WELL, in the past years I really have not studied but this year. I'm going to put in 100% so that means im going to study!!!

study is for nerds

I sometimes study. Last year, the only class I studied for was US history because I fell asleep or did other work in class, and that was just cramming the day before and day of each test. In my other classes, though, I found that if I just paid attention I would do fine on tests.

As for standardized tests, I didn't study for all of them. When I did study, I always did really well. When I didn't study, I either did really well (by knowing stuff from school, like Math IIC) or really poorly.
