who had their berkeley admission rescinded for whatever reason.... just wondering....

One of the kids on my floor lied slightly about his grades on his application. He was gone before the first week of class ended.

someone on my floor disappeared also from grades, i think failing class(es) senior year.

Did he disappear, or was he disappeared? I really hope it was the latter.

I hope rih is being sarcastic.

he disappeared. his grades took him away. :)

Not sarcastic. Berkeley takes their honesty policy seriously.

whats your definition of slightly?

Are they as strict about community service hours?

How will they know your real cs hours?

My high school transcript has the CS hours.

wow castel thats weird... mine doesn't ... how do they know how many u did?

shouldn't they rescind you before you move in if its because of poor senior grades?

they should i mean they receive transscripts by late june so they should know if u met the conditions of agreement, before u enroll and start living and get all excited and then..... bye bye

Don't worry about cs hours.

Haha, the Berkeley admins are kinda mean in that they tell you that your offer has been rescinded after you move in so that you have to move all your stuff back home. :P

Yeah they will ask you to move out. A guy from my floor moved out because of poor senior year grades.

I actually got the "rejecting" e-mail too because I totally forgot to send in the transcripts from a CC I attended. I listed that I took a health class there which wasn't a big deal or anything, but it ended up with all serious and I had to rush the transcript to Cal or the admission office was going to reject me. They said in the e-mail something like that if they don't receive the missing documents in 10 days, my registration would be canceled.

I think only a random percentage of students are asked to verify their community service hours. If you haven't been asked, you should be fine.

ack, i'm so paranoid i'll forget to send something in & get myself in a predicament.

haha, it's easy to accidently forget to send something. I listed AP scores on my application even though I didn't plan on using my tests to waive any classes. I got the same letter saying I had 10 days to send in my scores or something like that.

Remember to keep checking your bearsfacts or application status and you should be fine.

Do we have to send in our AP scores, if we didn't list them on our application or plan on using them (I'm a junior transfer, so they have no idea I have even taken AP classes)?
