<p>Do you need to know about ellipses? I saw it a few times in Barron's, but i have heard that lots of things in Barron's are not included in the exam.</p>
<p>However, if you do need to know about ellipses, is it just basic information??</p>
<p>Pretty sure it’s just basic things, like finding the length of the major/minor axis given the equation of the ellipse or vice versa.</p>
<p>Conic sections are on the test.</p>
