<p>How important is this topic for the actual test? I am reading about conic sections in barrons right now and I don't understand it at all!</p>

<p>I’m preparing from barrons too. At first I also found it confusing, so I just decided to highlight the important formulas like of the open form, eccentricity ect. And also if a>b then x is the major axis blah blah. That much is easy.</p>
<p>Very few questions are on them, but I would still know them. The newer edition of Barron’s is better than the older ones at explaining it. What don’t you understand?</p>
