College students: what were your favorite class times?

Morning. Loved having the rest of the day free. Then again, my baseball class was 5-8P and that was perfect because it let me out just in time to get an hour in studying before the Intramurals at 9.

Most of my classes are going to be in the afternoon because I have a serious problem with getting up early in the morning.

I choose classes based on how interested I am in the class, and am willing to wake up or attend them at any time. Because of this, I have a very odd schedule for the fall: one three-hour class on Monday at noon, two classes on Tuesday from 10:15am to 2:30pm, no class on Wednesday, Thursday is the same as Tuesday except in that I have an additional three-hour class going from 3:15pm-4:45pm, and I only have a three-hour class on Friday from 10:15am-12:14pm.

Three hour classes are great because then I have the class only once a week:D

my favorite was late morning/early afternoon... so i wouldn't have to wake up TOO late, but i'd still have a lot of free time afterwards.

morning - classes starting at 9am... (8am is too early). Then I can get done with the whole afternoon free to run errands & stuff before studying in the evening

I wanted to stick to morning classes...but everything I was interested in signing up for is between 10 and 4:30...so I'm hoping it won't really matter.

Mid-morning to early afternoon, or more preferably, a schedule that isn't necessarily preferenced towards time slots in the day, but rather classes spread out in the week so that I can have whole days off.

Afternoon to evening. Mornings are the enemy.

Mornings for me. The way I think is that if I wake up at 11 am, grab lunch, go to class, get out chat with friends, eat dinner, that's basically my whole day gone. Ewww...

late morning to mid afternoon. anything before 10 i'm not waking up for.

I am a night owl, but I prefer afternoon classes or late morning classes. I will never ever do a first period class ever again, though I only snored once in lecture.

I refuse to take a class before 10am.

I'm willing to do classes between 9 am to 3 pm...as long as I don't have 6 hours of class straight!

Definitely not going to schedule a class before 10AM as well. I also like my schedule spread out--classes every day for a (relatively) short time instead of classes on 3 days for longer.

late morning/early afternoon is GREAT. I know myself, and whether my first class is at 8 or 1, I will probably be up until at least 1am doing work or watching TV, so I just end up getting more sleep. My first semester I had my earliest class at 11am MWF, then no class tuesday or thursday. That was my dream schedule. Second semester, classes started at 10am, and this semester they will start at 9am (I could've chosen to start at 11 again, but I really wanted this one particular prof for my macro econ class, so I chose the early class). I think as long as there are no 8am's you should be fine. It deffinetly is nice to be done with classes early. Also if you have tuesdays and thursdays with late classes, you get a bit of a break so that you can sleep in.

Mon-thur I had classes at 8, done by 2 usually first semester. Its nice in that you finish early, but my naps were always from like 3-5. In the end I just set up later classes the second semester cause with the naps, too much of my day had gone by. That is not mentioning it takes me forever to wake up once I fall asleep. As for falling asleep, regardless of when my classes were I was up till 1 at night. There was always people up hang out with, or my roomate was going back and forth to rooms which kept me up. Point is, new kids to college, DO NOT TAKE CLASSES AT 8 UNLESS YOU PLAN SKIPPING A LOT!!

I did my schedule MWF two classes, start at 1030, hour break for lunch, then second class is done by 130. TTH I have one class just before noon, then another 2-4. I'm DREADING my W night class (4-7 GAG) :(

Morning hands down. Just get it out of the way and relax the rest of the day ;)

I definitely hope I can get my classes in the morning, but I think we freshman don't exactly get the pick of the crop here at SD!
