Do you guys read the prompts? I did a practice test and got about 10 questions wrong out of the 75. Out of those 10, 7 were from not reading the prompts. Do you guys have any tips?
I got a 34 on the ACT English section.
-When I went to answer the questions, I would always mark the phrase and the sentence before and after it. Sometimes, the questions are common sense and other times, you have to read the first and last sentence of each paragraph in order to see where the paragraphs should be placed.
Just remember your grammar rules and you should always read the sentence to yourself to see if it sounds “right”. Other times, you have to look before and after the underlined text to find the answer
