I wouldn’t consider any of those a HUGE reach, but Berkeley and Johns Hopkins are probably the reachiest. Nice work, you’re a strong candidate!
Chance me back?

Thanks for chancing me; I’m sorry to say that I don’t know enough about most of these schools to give you a decent chance, but I am pretty sure that you can pull off Wash U (i give you a 7/10), UMich (9/10 just because i can never bring myself to put a 100% chance), and Texas (9/10). Best of luck to you

bump 10char

The majority of these schools are a match, with UC Berkley being the sole exception as a slight reach. I wish I had your academic profile!

Chance me: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/824414-chances-nerdy-but-underachieving-white-male-ca.html

Like crk said, Berkeley might be a bit of a reach. As a Texan, I can tell you that UT likes in-stater’s so you might have a slight issue there but your test scores should probably be enough to get you in though regardless.

Very strong candidate. You are a safe bet everywhere in my opinion. Obviously its a little harder with Cal and Johns Hopkins, but I wouldn’t be too worried about it

alexc91: thanks for chancing me, really appreciate it

MAB: that gives me some serious stress relief. I understand the situation with UCB and JH will be a lot harder than the other schools, but I guess it’s fine. I think what you said is all I really needed to hear. Thanks =D
