Detailed overview:
Well I came to the US in 2007 with about 30% prior knowledge about the English language.
I faced hardship because of the language barrier as well as the racism, and bullying which if you think about it did influence my studies in many ways.
I worked really hard the first two years in US middle school and learn English fast, and I did, I was out of ESL program by 8th grade and went into Language Arts with regular students. I still had trouble in that class, also the honors Language Arts that I did in 10th grade too.

Although I was able to keep my high school GPA current as 3.67. Also in my 10th grade year I overheard a senior giving his friend advice to do running start and get out of high school, I wanted to get out of high school as well as I didn't like the ignorant classmates of mien so I researched on my own and decided to go to Bellevue College as a Running Start. As of now I have 3.79 GPA in college. I have taken many classes that are prerequisites for my engineering. Math 151, Math 152, English 235, chemistry 121, as well as classes needed for my graduation such as history, foreign language, social studies, and business. I am also planing on taking core classes such as Math 153, Math 254, Engineering Physics series, as well as some communications classes such as public speaking for my English skills and social skills.

In the end, Running start was very beneficial, but there is one thing it harmed me with. It was the people I met at college. People such as, friends I made and they kept saying how "You don't have to take the SAT/ACT, since you will have more than 40 credits" that statement was stuck in my mind and I didn't care about the test up until, November 2012. I took no time to register for December tests, but I miserably failed the tests. With a score of 1410 for SAT and 21 for SAT. I regret not knowing this earlier.
