Do you think I have a shot at the Villanova Nursing School?!

<p>I'm a rising senior and when I graduate I will have completed 14 Honors/AP courses during my high school career (11 honors classes, 3 AP classes)
-GPA: 3.88
-ACT: 28 (will take again in october)
-Tons of community service (Youth group, sunday school teacher, arts and crafts at a local library, and English as a Second Language teacher)
-Century Club for 2 years (over 100+ hours of service)
-Key Club one year
-Field Hockey 2 years
-Golf 2 years
-National Honors Society 2 years
-Accepted into a Pre-College Program at Emory University this summer and took a non credit course in Neuroscience
-I've been working at an animal hospital for about a year, so I'm familiar/involved with some aspects of medicine (I can write one of my essays about this)
-I work 16 hours/week during the school year and 25/week over the summer</p>

<p>Any ideas of other nursing schools I could get into? Thanks :)</p>

<p>Does Nova list any stats expectations for its BSN students?</p>

<p>What state are you in?</p>

<p>Are the state schools BSN programs impacted? Are they hard to get into? </p>

<p>What is your budget? How much will your parents pay?</p>

<p>-Nova only lists its stats for general admission: Middle 50% ACT: 30-33 and average GPA is 3.81-4.12

-I’m not sure!
-Not sure of that either, but I’m sure I can always apply for financial aid.</p>

<p>Your stats are very close to those of someone I know who also applied to Nova for nursing. I didn’t think she was going to get in, but she got deferred in EA and accepted in the regular pool.</p>

<p>also, i got a 4 on my AP English Lang exam.</p>

<p>I’ve also participated in the French Exchange Program for two years now. My sophomore year I hosted, and this coming year I am going to France with my class. It it helps.</p>
