Do you think I will get into Uw-madison?

<p>Alright folks, I'm a very bright student who has slacked off quite a bit during high school. </p>

<p>ACT:34 (September 2011)
32 (February 2011) 31 (April 2011)
GPA: 3.2 (terrible) However, I do have 7 AP classes on my transcript and already have 20 credits at Madison from AP tests (I'm 5/5 on AP tests, received AP scholar with distinction after junior year)</p>

<p>I don't really have much for ECs, but I played 4 years of varsity hockey and 3 years of junior varsity golf.</p>

<p>I'm really nervous about getting in because of my very low gpa. I'm almost certain I'll get waitlisted at the very least but I'm just wondering what everyone else thinks? Any advice/help is appreciated</p>

<p>If I’m not mistaken, UW Madison places a high importance on ACT score. The sports will help you, but you’ll need to talk about what they did for your character in your essays. Make sure your rec(s) also talk about you as a person rather than a student. You have a good shot.</p>
