<p>For History 124B if I'm in spot 20, and the class is size 200? This class has no discussion section, and I know that's generally how people get dropped (non-attendance of section) so I'm wondering if the same 'ten percent-ish' rules apply for this class?</p>
<p>Maybe. Typically you see about a 10% drop rate. Personally, I’d start looking for another class.</p>
<p>I ended up with spot 16, which is within that 10 percent so hopefully I’ll make it in. I emailed someone in the history department and they said I was ‘probably safe’ but we’ll see. I’ll keep searching for something else that’s open and will fit my schedule, though, just in case. I’ve never been waitlisted before, so scary!</p>
