<p>If I'm the first person on the waitlist for a discussion, how likely is it that I will be able to enroll? If I'm waitlisted, do I still attend class (what if the only alternative to this class is a class at the same time?)?
When do I turn in all the assignments?</p>

<p>pretty much either it will all fill up then they’ll start moving waitlisted people in the class immediately after that or first week of class he’ll tell everyone whether they’ll be able to get in or not</p>
<p>and you sign up to be placed on a waitlist for the specific discussion…so just go to that discussion to turn in your stuff…</p>
<p>i think its by the second week if you’re not in the class you’re dropped, so if you’re still on the wait list you pretty much will only have to do maybe 1 assignment before you get dropped</p>
<p>theres 300 in there right now and 75 wait list spots which seems insanely high imo but i bet a good amount will get in the main class</p>

<p>yea we are i said that, and i dont think the chances of getting in are that great</p>
<p>he replied and said he doesn’t enroll above the cap and i took that to mean that he doesnt add over 20 for each discussion, so the people in the waitlist have to wait for someone in the discussion to drop to get a spot, which imo is highly unlikely especially for > 2 or 3 people to drop in one discussion</p>
<p>after that i said screw it so i dropped off the waitlist and signed up for a&a 10</p>
<p>i’m also first on the waitlist for this classs. I’m really hoping that I can get in because a lot of the other GE classes I want are already full</p>

<p>the bad part is though that taking it means i have 3 finals in a day, but i’m hoping that since 2 of the classes are pretty easy i’ll be able to take it</p>

<p>How did you get into the class? Did you get notice that somebody dropped it? I don’t think that History 8A would fit into my schedule… I really need to get into sociology :/</p>
<p>no it automatically enrolled me in, i think. the status now says enrolled both on ursa and myucla.</p>
<p>yeah, it’s hard to find a ge thats offered TR. im not sure what your schedule looks like right now, but you could try Japanese 50</p>
