<p>I don’t think there is a better or worse. Either way coild work out well…or not.</p>
<p>One of my kids loved with friends 3/4 years. The other never roomed with a friend…although one of her roomies became a very good friend. </p>
<p>We know kids who roomed with HS friends…and the friendship,went south as roommates. We also know friends who lived together and it was terrific.</p>
<p>As noted, one of my kids did the random roommate thing and one of those ransoms became a BFF. We also know random roomies where the situation was not good.</p>
<p>I don’t think you can ever know how a person lives with you…until you actually live with them!</p>
