<p>I understand that it depends on how much I train in the next few years, but I was just curious if these times are a good base to start off on to get recruited for track or Cross Country. Thanks in advance!</p>
<p>yes those are pretty nasty times for an 8 grader and thats a great freshman time for the 5k. You’re on track to do it man…</p>
<p>I think you have a really good shot at being a solid D1 recuirt overall, not just ivies, so obviously that implies you’d be more than welcome as an athlete. But are you a student? My coach says brown won’t even take me if my SAT scores arent above 2000 (thankfully they are!) so thats a good goal to set for yourself too</p>
<p>My teammate last year (as a freshman) broke the freshman state record in the 400hurdles. He was also the number 1 freshman 400 hurdler in the country and already got letters from brown and princeton, among other even better track programs. hopefully you’ll find similar success in the sport too so good luck man</p>
