Hahaha you’re funny! This Pennsylvania charm never fails me, and probably never will. PA dudes are the best

Pennsylvania charm?! Pshhh…please! I’m southern.

Ahh, a Southern Belle I see. You might catch me down at UGA or UNC-CH, so that PA charm of mine might just knock you off of your feet :D

@tiaram What do your stats look like?

@harassNN and Repede Agree 100%

@Everyone else Sorry for hijacking the thread!

All of you are so wrong! I really don’t want to post my stats, I’m pretty sure they are inferior to yours…

Message me then! You’re in for a surprise if you really think that…

You send yours first…

I’m snickering at people who want to limit the amount of kids they have because of the earths resources. Reminds me of the movie Idiocracy. Go watch its trailer. Anyways I’d want somewhere between 2 - 4 kids. A man needs his heir(s).

A girl needs her children! I love kids

@chiclanda So am I. I believe that children are like little blessings. That may not have been the most masculine thing to come out of my mouth, but I believe it to be true. I see people devaluing a child to the point of calling it a “financial burden.” Some people don’t even have the ability to reproduce, so be thankful for your fertility. Some people would kill to have the ability to bear children.

Kids are like a smaller, smellier version of yourself when you think about it.

Yep i want to do hair and all that good stuff!

Good thing they can’t bear children then.

IMO, there’s no reason to encourage people who don’t want kids to have them. We don’t have underpopulation problems as far as I know. Someone who doesn’t want kids isn’t going to be that awesome a parent, and their having a child doesn’t help infertile people in any way.

Because the only way to ever have children in your life is to conceive :rolleyes:

I think everyone desires companionship but Halycon is right to note that marriage, while a lengthy binding contract, is not the only way to obtain long term relationships.

I would like to get married, because of cultural and religious reasons. I want to marry someone who will be 100% supportive of my career ambitions but who is also ambitious and someone that I would be willing to support. I think having a successful career, i.e. being a great scientist that discovers a cure to a disease is more beneficial to humanity than reproduction. As such, career definitely would take precedent.

At the same time, I think I would like to reproduce. I would want one daughter or one daughter and one son. Pregnancy seems highly uncomfortable and I definitely would want to be ‘settled’ in my career before taking the time off, if I take much off at all. Taking time off in ones’ formative years seems highly counterproductive.

@Halcyonheather True hahaha! Maybe I should’ve changed the wording…

@Repede Your sarcasm is very true; however, some people just want to have the feeling of having something that they created. You’re totally right, I’m just throwing that out there…

I find that dehumanizing. Why don’t they just write a poem or something? ;)
