Do you wear glasses/contacts?

Or do you have perfect vision? And do you prefer glasses or contacts?

I've been wearing glasses since I was 7 in grade 3, I'm nearly 15 now and going to grade 10. I don't like contacts; poking myself in the eye every day doesn't sound appealing to me.

Contacts. .

I used to wear contacts, but they got annoying so I switched to glasses.

I wore glasses when I was a little boy and now I'm a hardcore contact user unless I'm at home. Contacts arent that bad when you're used to them.

VLVB, it's not at all "poking yourself in the eye". The contacts are wet and they just grab your eye when you get close enough. It does take a little getting used to, but I see so much better in them and they're so comfortable I don't even know they're there.

Lithium, (BTW, do you love Nirvana? I do!) if yours were annoying you should get your doctor to give you another brand to try. I've worn several different brands and some are definitely better than others for me. Glasses are fine too. I ordered a new pair last week and they're coming Wednesday or Thursday and I can't wait 'cuz they're so cute! I hardly ever wear glasses out of the house, but I wear them quite a bit at home and I'll probably wear them around my dorm, so I wanted cute new ones.

I kept meaning to switch to contacts from glasses... haven't yet.

I guess I just don't want to go back to the optometrist and have them state the obvious, "You don't have very good eyesight."

No, really? : D

Glasses...my vision is...forget it, man I hope I can do that lazer surgery now.

contacts...definetly better than glasses!

contacts .

I usually wear contacts but this summer i've been lazy and wearing glasses most of the time.

I wear glasses since I'm 9 and I've tried contacts but I have a kind of fear to put my fingers anywhere near my eyes, so I wasn't able to get used to them. Plus, I've got astigmatism, so they sometimes got out of my eyes without me doing anything... Try finding those clear contacts on a dark kitchen floor.

I just stick to glasses for right now. I'll try eye surgery when my eyesight stabilizes and that might be in something like 10 years.

I don't have really good eyes (I blame the gaming x.X), but I don't wear glasses except in a classroom when I need to see very far (if i sit in the back).

Otherwise...I don't use it, albeit it's a bit blurry often, it's durable.

glasses
except i need stronger ones cuz my vision sucks so bad -_-

^ Contacts

Glasses because everyone I know that wore glasses has contacts now. Its a trend at my school. Me and about two other people are they only ones who still wear our glasses. Plus I find them better then contacts because my friend spends forever trying to get her contacts out and then her eyes get dry and she has to put in eye drops.

Wore glasses since age 4, got contacts at age 8
my vision is horrible
i had to cheat on the driving test vision part
surgery won't fix it, so i'm screwed for life

i can thank my legally blind parents

I've been wearing glasses since I was 10 and started wearing contacts about 2 years ago. I personally prefer glasses. I'm guessing either my eyes are really sensitive, or something isn't right, but every time I wear contacts it like.... Hurts. I wear contacts when I'm going to be in the sun (so I can wear sunglasses), going out with friends, or working out/gym class. Otherwise, I'm a glasses wearing person.

glasses, but i only need them to see very far away writing and stuff..Usually my glasses give me a huge headache, so i try to not wear them too much. i want to get contacts, but my mom is a bit of a paranoid person so she's convinced i'll loose my eyesight by poking myself while putting in contacts.

I'm really surprised by all the people who say that contacts "bother" them or hurt when they put them in, dry up their eyes, etc. Honestly, if you get the right brand for your eyes [you can ask your eye doctor to let you try out several brands, and different solutions], you really won't be able to feel your contacts at all. The only reason they should be noticeably drying out your eyes is if you have pre-existing condition that's being aggravated, or if you're wearing your contacts longer than you're supposed to wear them.

I used to have contacts that messed up my eyes. I just got a different kind that have are more water based and they're fine.
