Probably half of mine do. Some, I know do, but it's obvious theirs is private. One non-private teacher's profile picture is of her as a young child, probably in the '40s. Another was of her and her husband (very funny to see). Also, do you have any teachers as friends? There's this one teacher everybody loves who's friends with tons of students. And another teacher made an account supposedly so she could communicate AP Psych info to them, but it's a real account and not just a fan page...so she's capable of and does look at their stuff. Then again, she texts her students too, sooo...

Of course. They have lives. They are people out of school, y’know. However, I think there should be a strict line between students and teachers, I honestly don’t think students should be adding their teachers on facebook.

our teachers go clubbing and post it in their albums…

but i’m pretty sure most younger teachers do this in any urban school

^ hahahaha

A bit off topic: I have particular profs who will give out non-personal Facebook pages to students in their syllabi so students can find out additional information on class cancellations and study material for tests.

^yeah, that’s what this one teacher does at my HS. but the thing is she probably looks at their profiles

Oh, I am SURE my profs look at their students’ profiles. Haha, it would almost be odd if they didn’t browse through at some point.

I know of at least 5 teachers who have them, but we’re technically not supposed to be friends until after graduation. My anatomy teacher always tells us about students who contact him and admit that he was right about college classes

What does he say about college classes?

I know several teachers that have FBs. They post personal stuff too. I don’t care really about what they do and there isn’t any rule at my school.

There are teachers at my school who have personal facebook accounts - some add students as friends, others do not. I would always feel awkward adding a teacher to my friends list though. I remember one teacher explaining how awkward it would be if a teacher read one of her student’s statuses that said something like “woo cant believe i partied all night and got so wasted loool”. I think that the teachers like to naively think that all of their students are good, well behaved people.

Teachers are humans?

ya they rly r isn’t that like sooo weird?!?!?!

All of the teachers at my school have facebooks. Even the old ones. They pop up in my friend’s suggestions all the time.

We only add them once we’ve graduated though. Or if they’ve left.

I’m friends with a bunch of the MS teachers though… Sometimes they comment on my status. lol

That they’re harder than high school and there’s no retakes, so we have to be ready

A lot of the younger teachers in my school have facebooks. One of my friends loves looking for them in the beginning of the year. Actually, my math teacher complained about our midterm grades on his status.

Many of the teachers at my school have facebooks, but they won’t add students until after they graduate. If they see a status that says, “oooh so wasted!” or something else the student could get in trouble for, they would feel obligated to report it.

“What’s all this FaceTube and YouBook stuff?”

Teachers: 'Nuff said.

My teachers have Facebooks! But I can’t add them unfortunately… =(

I ■■■■■ my teachers on facebook, then take their emails and sign them up for natural enhancements.
