If I have earned any certificate or award, should I certify them and mail them together with my academic transcripts to UW?

What are the documents I need to send other than academic transcripts?

I think you are on the college thread. This is UIUC not UW

Sorry, should be UIUC.

Not sure what you are intending to send because all things should have been sent by now if you are applying as a freshman for next fall. UIUC does not want your grades from first semester senior year nor anything else that one would think of as being included in a “mid-year” report because it wants no mid-year report. If you are talking about some recent certificate or award, you may try mailing it and asking it to be included in your file (and don’t bother with certification) but likely that will also be ignored.

If you are a transfer student applying for next fall and thus still in the application period, then, if there is a particular award, you can mention it in application or essay and send a copy (again certified copy not necessary) to include in your file.
