Dodmerb sent a letter to my house today and because I'm away at school I had my sister read it to me. It sounded confusing and I think I have to go a doctor for a remedial. When I went to the website listed in the letter my status is "Remedial Requested". But in the top right of the screen it has a disqulatification note and also instructions for a waiver; is this listed on everyone's page? I hope this all works out

bgmcgrath - Both the letter and the DoDMERB website should give you instructions to follow for your remedial. If I recall correctly, there was an information button on my son's page giving the disqualification and waiver process instructions - it was for information only.

I got a letter for remedials in the mail but it never changed from closed on their website. maybe my remedials were minor.

that thing is for information only. If you are disqualified, it will say either "Disqualified" or "pending waiver review" or something to that extent.

I got a similar letter a while ago, and I know how confusing it sounds. What I'd do is have your sister read the letter to you again, and make sure she tells you the phone number to call if you have any questions. Then call that number, tell them you have a question as to why you were remedialed, and then give the person your social. They'll pull your file up and tell you why you were remedialed and what you need to do to fix that. Most likely they will just require some written medical records or they want you to visit one of their military doctors for some additional tests. Good luck and I hope this helped.

Everyone on here is a big help. Thank you. I think I just need to send them some medical records then all should be well.
