DODMERB results came in.

After 2 months of waiting, I finally got my DODMERB results back. It turns out that I qualified for everything [NO DQ'S]. I am qualified for USMA, USMMA and "Candidate Qualified" for USAFA. I’m wondering if this was all for the medical step and if I am all squared away.

I am concerned because according to the DODMERB website, I have these 3 conditions:
D257.00 - Refractive error greater than -1.00 diopters in any meridian
D257.62 - Unaided distant visual acuity worse than 20/50
D257.80 - Substandard depth perception

I am 100% positive that D257.80 and D257.00 do no apply to me. I am absolutely certain that it was a mistake on the part of the doctors at the hospital and not an actual condition. Also, I am sure the nurses screwed up my height measurements, so that would put me “shorter” than I am supposed to be. I’m wondering if I should submit paperwork to clear this, or if I should just forget about this.

might wanna check it out and ask some quesitons for USAFA

b/c it will give you either, PQ, NQ or commision only

when i got my dodmerb like a week ago, the nurses screwed up my height and weight too. the thing asks for height to the nearest quarter inch. she asked my height, i said 5 foot 5 and a half... she put down 5 foot 5. then she asked my weight, i said 122 lbs, she put down 120. plus the pulse was pretty innacurate seeing as she had me walking all over the place before taking it.. she put down 66 bpm and i think im about 55.

lol. The doctor who did my physical stated that I had a heart murmer. I had to get an ekg which found my heart to be similar in health to one of a pro athlete (kinda random) and no murmer whatsoever.

You have to watch those nurses. They measured my height to be like 6 foot 6 inches which is about 4 inches too much. She couldn't tell because she was abot 5 feet tall wether the stick that sits on your head was perpindicular to the height stick so she kept raising it and raising it. After she finished, I asked her to do it again because I know I am not 6' 6''.

yeah, unfortunatly, they send you over the not so good hospitals (my case). They made me wait almost an hour before they did anything. But, your not paying for it so, i guess there is a tradeoff.

if i didnt have health insurance id apply to a service academy every year :)

when i first got there they had me cover one eye and do that whole dance. it ended up as 20-30 in both eyes, as opposed to 20-20 and 20-25 like the dodmerb optometrist said.. im guessing they just go by the optometrist's word.
