Hi! I’m in 8th grade and I don’t really have the best grades… So I’m almost sure that they will be on my transcript. Will they still count? I mean, will they still consider it in the admissions decision…?
I’m not an admissions expert, but I’d guess no. As long as your grades show growth throughout your high school career you’ll be just fine. From what I’ve read online and watched on YouTube, even some Ivy League students had a couple of eh grades on their transcript. Keep working hard and do things you’re passionate about to vamp up your college app 
8th grade doesn’t usually count unless you took a high school level course.
