<p>I'm a junior. I'd like to apply to the UCs next year: Berkeley, Davis, Santa Barbara, Irvine, maybe UCLA. </p>
<p>These are all the classes I've gotten Bs in.
Assume the rest of my grades are As:</p>
<p>Freshman year:
Algebra 2: B/B</p>
<p>Sophomore year:
Pre-Calculus: B/B
AP World History: B/B</p>
<p>Junior Year (tentative):
AP Lit: B/A
Calc AB: B/C</p>
<p>But now it looks like I'm going to end with a C in second semester AP Calc AB. </p>
<p>...will that hurt? It'll be my only C.</p>
<p>If it matters, I'm going to finish with 9 APs by the end of senior year. I have some recent mitigating circumstances I can use, but to be honest, (in the light of my improvement in Lit), they seem like excuses.</p>
