I'm two classes away from a marketing minor and this compliments my major very well.

However, we pay tuition on a per class basis. I was wondering if it would be worth it to pay for the two extra classes (probably $1600 worth, or more if I decide to take it over summer) for that official minor on my diploma. Thoughts?

If you’re only 2 classes away, I’d say go for it. The minor would let employers know that you’re qualified to work with elements of marketing in addition to the aspects of your major, and if your major is something that works well with marketing, then that would indeed make you even more "market"able.

However, if it’ll completely set you off-track to graduate and/or put you in the poor house, then that’s something completely different. If it’s feasible, then I’d say to go ahead and do it. You never know how life will turn out and what kind of qualifications you may need down the road.
