Basically, I got a 800 on Math level 2, but didn’t do too well on US History or Physics. Would it be weird to colleges if I only submitted 1 subject test? Would they infer that I took more but didn’t do well? That’s the main thing I’m afraid of. Should I submit the single subject test score, or not submit any at all?
well how bad did you do? we need to know those other scores. some people (not me) think a 690 is bad. plus it depends on the type of schools you are applying to.
tell us more!
joecollege44: I got a 760 on US History and cancelled my Physics before scores came out because I knew I got a bad score. The 760 is def not good enough to send to schools I am targeting like UIUC, Purdue, UW, etc
I don’t know where are getting your info but a 760 is def good enough to submit to any school. It’s out of 800, you know that, right? A 760 would not keep you out of Harvard!
Yes. Because basically nobody takes just one Subject Test, and an AO will like;y conclude that you are shielding a bad score. Which, let’s be real, you are.
That’s beyond disingenuous. A 760 is an excellent score.
So submit both scores. Not sure what your looking up for your target schools.
760 is absolutely fine. Send both scores.
And BTW, the schools you mentioned don’t even recommend SAT II subject tests so they’ll just support your application.
UIUC doesn’t accept SAT subject tests (or teacher recommendations for that matter) but if you are going to do engineering, I would recommend math 2 and some sort of science because other schools like that. (Know this cause I’m going to UIUC)
