Does AAP offer priority enrollment?

Thanks in advance. :)

No, it doesn't.

Are you applying for it? It does offer free tutoring for just about all of the courses available in a quarter. It's definitely worth it esp. if you were unable to get Covel tutoring. Tutoring sessions are much smaller than Covel sessions.

I'm already in it. Along with PLUS and a pretty heavy courseload and a good deal of extracurriculars. I know PLUS gives you priority enrollment, but due to the lack of time I have had last quarter and the first week of this quarter, I don't think I can make all the deadlines for spring quarter priority enrollment.

Btw, does anybody know if you can get dejected from PLUS if you don't meet all of the requirements your first quarter?

Yes, AAP does offer priority enrollment.

That is if you're willing to walk down to Campbell on a weekly basis. :)

Yes, if you don't meet all the requirements in two consecutive quarters, you will be dismissed form the program. I myself have not done any requirements first quarter, but I'm still in it. :) But I need to make them up this quarter in order to keep getting priority enrollemnt.

Whoops. :o I assumed there was no priority enrollment because I did not have it fall quarter... then again I did not know I was in AAP until 3/4 into first quarter and so was unable to take EXCEL workshops or satisfy any other AAP requirements while remaining in the program.

i got rejected from AAP.

Thanks BoelterHall for the useful information. :)

Hmm... I was wondering why I had priority enrollment this year... but then again, I know not of these requirements for AAP you speak of...

Just as a response to one of the earlier post, you can almost always just sit in on a covel or aap tutoring session even if you didn't register (there are a few tutors though who may be strict, but for the most part, they don't mind)
