Priority Enrollment?

Are there any other ways to get priority enrollment besides clusters and the honors program?

And for clusters, does the priority last for only that year or all four years?

Thanks much. :]

Umm.. Regents Scholar. AAP/PLUS. Disabilities.

Nope, the cluster priority is one year. Priority enrollment is jammed packed the way it is already!

For priority enrollment among the different programs, do students in each of the program get to enroll at the same early time or are some programs given preferance over others? For example, do honors students get to choose classes before AAP students? Or, better yet, does each program allow students priority enrollment in certain classes only? For example, cluster students only get priority enrollment in seminars spring quarter?

Nope, priority applies to everything.

I'm not sure how it's distributed, but since there are usually only 2 or 3 days of priority before first pass starts, I don't think theres much difference between the different programs. Class status DOES make a difference though. 4th years w priority have the earliest appointments, then 3rd years, etc.

thanks allie

AAP/plus do not get priority anymore. Only way is if the student works 20+ hours a week. I dont think priority is that important. Due to the priority cap and its easier to get classes after freshmen year anyway. I necessary, get a 3.5 and sign up for honors:]

Huh...you get kicked out of the program if you don't do the requirements though right?...

Thanksf or the info everyone :]

I never bothered to get priority even though I easily could've qualified. It never really hurt me. And for all you econ majors out there, you can't use priority to sign up for any econ class besides econ 1/2. All econ classes past that don't allow priority enrollment. I don't really know why, but that's how it is.
