Does Any Admitted Student Who Appplied for Financial Aid NOT have an Award Listed Yet

Hi,

My daughter was admitted and timely applied for financial aid and all her documents are listed as received, but her USConnect says:

Thank you for visiting the USC Financial Aid Office. Your financial aid information is currently unavailable because your award has not yet been determined. Graduate students should receive their Financial Aid Summaries starting May 1 and continuing throughout the summer. Continuing undergraduate students will begin receiving their Financial Aid Summaries in June. Thank you for your patience. If you have any questions or concerns, or need to speak with a financial aid counselor, please visit USC Financial Aid or contact us at USC Financial Aid - Contact Us.

Does anyone else who was admitted for Fall and applied for financial aid have this statement?

Thanks.

Hi palmspringsmom, I wasn’t able to view my award, either. I am in the same situation as your daughter.

Me

10char

Wait until you get an official email from the FA office telling you your award is complete. Then you should be able to view it. Unless, of course, you are like me and are trying to view your awards at the same time as 9,000 other people and the page has been trying to load for 20 minutes.

Are any of you presidential/trustee finalists?

Please look through the later posts from alamemom about the final financial aid packages. Your financial aid package may not be complete for reasons she explains in her well researched posts.

A package is not complete until you receive a formal communication from the financial aid office telling you what the package contains. Some of these involve federal or state grants, university small scholarships, university aid, etc. If you are uncertain please contact the aid office to make sure all the components are included.

It says that on my USConnect as well.
