<p>AP English Language + Comp sucked.</p>
<p>I have a feeling AP English Lit will only be worse...</p>
<p>the real question is whether there is anyone doensn't hate AP English!</p>
<p>I liked it when it was over, but not when I was doing it. AP Lit is more work than most APs, but you can learn a lot.</p>
<p>i prefer lit just because i feel confident in my grammar, and i would rather read some interesting books and work with them than just write stupid timed essays.</p>
<p>also, english exams are the only ones you can't really study for, because natural ability counts. I got a 3 on AP Lang and a 5 on the five other exams I took.</p>

<p>My AP English Language class was an absolute nightmare last year (started at 7am, teacher with sadistic tendencies), but I got a 4, so it was worth it for me.</p>
<p>Minimal work all year, no studying, and I got a 3. It's like the critical reading SAT part; you can't really prepare any other way than reading. Also, know your rhetoric, that killed me! I'm thinking of retaking after studying that, since I hadn't even heard of it until I read it on the test, and I bs'ed my way through the essays. </p>
<p>To answer the question, had I had a real class (not a crappy teacher), I think I would've hated it.</p>
<p>I can only shudder to think what score I would've gotten if I had to write those two essays on flamingos and money...</p>
<p>Yea I had a big workload for AP Lang, but looking back I learned loads of stuff that was actually interesting. Besides the workload, I kinda enjoyed the class. But yea I hear AP Lit has an even bigger workload, or at least that's what I hear about my school's AP class</p>
<p>I agree with Rhapsody; I don't mind it now, and am glad that I put the work into it. But during it I was very stressed and unhappy, mainly because of my timed essays.</p>
<p>AP English Literature is by fay way much better than AP English Language. AP English Language is a crap class that tells you how to write, which is something you should already know how to do.</p>
<p>My language class was taught by a teacher for the first year when I took it (last year).. the structure of the class wasn't exactly perfect. I still didn't think it was too bad, though, and I've heard lit is a lot more universally appealing.</p>
