Today while I was taking the act, i noticed my proctor's timing was off. There would be 8 minutes left on the test and she would yell 5 minutes left. I know the proctor is usually a minute off but this one was 3 minutes off. She did this on all 4 parts of the test except for the essay, idk why.

There was clearly 8 minutes left and i even counted on my watch. Does anyone else's proctor do this? is it some kind of trick?

My proctor was correct within 5 seconds, according to my watch :P

That seems like it could be bad. I would hate to be rushed when I don’t need to. On the reading and science sections I’ve almost trained myself to take exactly 35 minutes. haha

Yes, mine did. Someone was actually brave enough to say something and, she said “I will report this to ACT and, you will possibly have a retest.” And, she left the room and, went and called ACT. I wanted to scream. Yes, I knew she was off but, I didn’t want to spend ANOTHER Saturday taking the test. But, she came back and, after the test was over she said if you have any complaints report them to ACT. SO i doubt the guy that say all of that will. But, the last 2 sections she was almost exact. Infact, according to my watch she gave us extra time… She was actually going by a wall clock with no second hand.
