Does anybody here believe in astrology?

yah, as the title says it, does anybody believe in it?
Its kinda weird but I do .

I do too! I'm not exactly sure why I believe it, but it has always applied to my life. I actually study astronomy so I know it's no direct correlation to the stars, but I do believe that people are affected by what time of year they're born and how they interact with others born during different times of the year. I also do tarrot, and generally believe in being psychic.

I did.. for the first 16 years of my life. I was obsessed with astrology, the whole palm thing (i researched and learned everything), tarot cards (i made my own because my parents wouldnt buy them), tea leaves, colors, dream interpretation, names/numbers/birthdates and all these other stuff.

Then when I turned 17 I just didnt have any time for it anymore. And then it became uninteresting. And then it turned stupid. Now, at 18 (now) i dont believe in it. I believe to SOME extent - like people's aura, neutral telepathy, etc...

But doesnt ex-planet Pluto just screw up the whole system?

I don't do tarrots, tea leaves and the like but I do know some bit of palmistry .Like equine99 said, it has always applied to my life too . I don't know how the astrologists figure out how planets influence our lives so, I have no idea what they are going to do with the ex-planet. But that doesn't necessarily screw up the whole system. I believe in lines like life line, heart line and head line .

Why don't we share each other's knowledge of astrology? Okay, I will start. If the head line(that's the one at the middle of the palm and runs horizontally across the palm ) is deep and clear , the person has a good memory. If one doesn't have the line, the person is stupid or more likely mentally retarded. If the line is forked at the end, the person is creative and has artistic talents.

I don't really believe in it, but I do read my horoscope quite frequently. So I guess I kind of half believe in it.

I don't believe in it. I'll occaisonally read my horoscope. but it's usually after the day's over so I can laugh at how off it is...

it's ridiculous. It has nothing to do with "stars aligning" because the stars in these horoscopes are for the most part millions of light years away from each other. People mistake Astrology for Astronomy almost as much as they mistake Cosmetology for Cosmology.

nope. A horoscope is very general and once you read it, you're basically expecting something to happen.

I don't really believe in it either, but horoscopes are just fun to read. The thing is, horoscopes are written so broadly that it could apply to everyone. That's why it sounds somewhat true.
And what about Chinese astrology? It doesn't make sense that everyone in your grade is expected to have the same personality traits as you.

I believe in Astrology. Especially Chinese astrology. 0.o; The Chinese astrology scares me. ><;

I read some ... uhh - just uncommon horoscopes.

"You'll be torn a new a$$hole this week by some of the top reconstructive surgeons in the country."

Lets just say i hope McSteamy is one of them!

No, I don't believe in astrology. I did up until the point that my horoscope said, "You will be lucky in love today," and my boyfriend dumped me. Maybe I was lucky to have been dumped by him, idk.

That's horrible cowtipper! =[!

I read mine every morning, but I don't really believe it.

yes, but at least someone will be tearing me a new a$$hole this week. i've been waiting for that for as long as i can remember.

I don't believe in horoscopes either because horoscopes are too general. If you are a Gemini or sth. and it says you are going to find your love there are millions of Gemini around the world, common if all those people get love, why would the world be unhappy? Besides, most horoscopses printed in newspapers are fluff as far as I know ( I mean they are not written by real astrologists ) I do believe in palmistry and the planets and such

Astrology? Sure, relying on Babylonian mysticism is smart way to make important decisions in the 21st century. Yeah, right. Sure....
