I'm currently in marketing and was considering doing Computer Science but there's too much calculus and science involved in that so I thought Information Systems would be suitable. How is UF's program compared to others and does anybody know if this is a good degree in the job market?

i am very familiar with the masters ISOM program. what exactly do you think you want to do after the program?

if you want to program, stop thinking about IS and go into the CSC program through CISE. though, if you don’t like solving math problems, you probably shouldn’t be a programmer.

if you want to work in an IT department in a company doing miscellaneous IT support stuff (telecom, IT audit, database management, etc) then IS is a better option.
