Mine doesn't. When I registered for the SAT, your class rank was mandatory and they asked me to guesstimate if they didn't release statistics. How the heck am I supposed to know my rank?

We rank at the end of senior year for val and sal speeches and that’s it. But we all figure out beforehand who’s ranked where

We don’t rank at all. Not even top 10% etc.

My old school didn’t rank (there were 24 students in my class). The SAT mainly wants that info so colleges can send you mail

Sent from my HTC One X+ using CC

Yeah my school only ranks top 3, so I just guessed about my rank based on my knowledge of who has what marks and where my marks stand.

Mine doesn’t rank whatsoever because the people here are just so competitive

Same for my school. We would have like 20 valedictorians and 50 salutatorians if we ranked.

We do valedictorian and then deciles.

Haha, you can’t guess what your rank is? I think I’d be able to get close to my actual number…

Last valedictorian graduated last year and our school no longer ranks

We do val/sal and then nothing after that.

ETA: but nobody really knows for sure until the end of sr. year so you can’t put it on apps or anything.

We don’t rank. Used to, with Val and Sal and all that good stuff, but they deemed it to be “competitive” so tossed it. Don’t even know what percentile I’m in.

We don’t rank but I think the school will report deciles to colleges (not to us). They say ranks will make kids too stressed out. But I go to a very stupid high school and some competition would definitely help.

my school doesn’t rank, they say it’s beneficial to us though

We do val/sal and then percentile rankings. For val/sal it literally comes down to averages in separate classes, because multiple students in my school achieve a perfect GPA. We’re super competitive and tiny, so I guess it’s for the best.
