<p>So my friend told me that UCSD students ride the amtrak for free... the shuttles, maybe. the train? hell no
but yeah, for those who do ride the amtrak, is the fee listed on the website one way or round trip? cause i click on both option but the price stays the same.</p>
<p>The bus lines direct to school are free, so the bus to the train station is free. </p>
<p>When you pick round trip on the Amtrak website it lets you pick the trip for the way going wherever you’re going and the fare to get there and then let’s you pick the trip back and the fare for that so it shows the prices separately. I think they do that because Amtrak is really nice about canceling your trip so if you wanted to cancel one way but not the either, it’s a lot easier if the way there and back are shown separately.</p>
