Does anyone here take any Apex Online AP classes?

Hello. I must say I'm new to the board, but from time to time I've come here and have read the posts.

Today, 10th grade students received course selection sheets to pick classes for next year. I pretty much have what I want to take down. However, because I am going to be a juniour, I'll be able to take Apex AP classes.

Apex Online classes, for those who do not know, are classes you take online thanks to Apex. These are the same as regular AP classes, but there is no real teacher, just an instructor who provides help and homework assignments.

Anyway, I was curious for those who have taken Apex AP classes in the past: What can I expect from the following Apex Online classes and what are their difficulty level? Should I have prior knowledge before attempting them (prerequisites)?

Apex Online AP Macroeconomics
Apex Online AP Microeconomics
Apex Online AP Biology
Apex Online AP U.S. History
Apex Online AP Statistics
Apex Online AP English Language
Apex Online AP Physics B
Apex Online AP Oceanography

Additionally, there are two AP classes that are offered by a different source, MSU.

MSU Online AP Psychology
MSU Online AP Human Geography

Thank-you all for your time and consideration.

“AP Oceanography”

seems legit

I was surprised when I checked my email and saw that I got a message saying someone replied to my post, even if it was a lulzy response. I had long since forgotten about this post. Not only have I graduated high school, I graduated college and have a full time government job! I ended up taking several AP classes, including quite a few online, and did well in most of them. It feels weird thinking that I asked this over 8 1/2 years ago. Lol, what a blast from the past!!

But was AP Oceanography really legit?

Yea, it was a real course offered. I didn’t take it though so I can’t speak of its content. However, the Apex online courses I did take were about on par in difficulty with the non online AP classes I took.
