I am a rising junior and will be taking the new SAT in spring 2016. I got a 1580 on the PSAT sophomore year, which is pretty bad. What should I do to prepare for the new SAT and/or the PSAT? Will taking the new SAT have an adverse effect when applying for college?
P.S. I want to go to Johns Hopkins University
No one knows. The only ‘legitimate’ study materials available for the 2016 SAT at the moment are Khan Academy and the prep book by Ivy Global.
It is going to have a english section that encompasses both CR and Writing in a sense. The math is very numerical, more like things you learn in school. Have you tried the ACT? It might fare better for you.
