New PSAT

I did some problems on the new SAT on Khan Academy but the questions seemed harder than the old SAT!

Has anybody been practicing the new SAT and the old one? Which one is harder in your opinion?
I’ve been practicing only for the old SAT so far. Do I have to study separately for the new SAT?

It’s sad how the class of 2017 HAVE to take the new SAT ;’(

I’ll appreciate any comments!

Hey @mango727 like you im sadly in the class of 2017 too :frowning: We are so unlucky that we have to take the new sat during our junior year!! Im still actually planning on taking only the old SAT this fall and hopefully I do well, but we inevitably have to take the New PSAT too though. I think Khan Academy’s drills really helped me zone in on my weaknesses and I have scored almost a perfect on the one and only practice test offered by Collegeboard. I really advise you to also take Ivy Global’s free practice New PSAT test and take the four New SAT practice tests. Thats what my plan is and thus far, im only getting few questions wrong for the verbal section and perfect for the math section each time (oh yeah btw because of the new shift in score as well lol i just measure my progress by how many mistakes im making) after taking both PSAT tests I mentioned plus two of Khan Academy’s New SAT tests. And parallel to the New PSAT, I have been practicing for the Old SAT test which I will take in November. In terms of difficulty, it was not too hard to me, it was rather a shift in strategy, be it addressing evidence-based reasoning for the critical reading section, having good reading stamina to read passages for the writing section as well as the critical reading section, and finally making my pace a little faster for the math section (especially the non-calculator section).
